Call It Love
This tender love story was so much fun to write, and I enjoyed getting to know Addison and Spencer as they developed on the page, in my heart and grew closer together. Be sure to download a copy of this book so it will appear on your Kindle April 14, 2020.
Many years ago, I worked as an extra in Hollywood films, so I used my experience as the backdrop for Call It Love. Though I didn’t meet any famous movie stars, a lot of well-known people wandered the sets.
Life on the Set
Watching a movie is not like filming a movie, which lacks glamor. We stand around A LOT and then we rehearse A LOT. As an extra, if I had to walk across the set, I walked that scene several times. I had to pay attention to my cue, make sure I started and stopped in the right place, according to the marks on the floor, made sure I kept the proper demeanor, i.e., was I happy, was I scared? Yes, I paid attention because I wanted the crew to know I was serious about my job.

Shelter in Place
But for now, what a time to announce a new book! We’re living in a challenging time. Who knew a virus could shutdown an entire planet?
It’s so important we follow guidelines we’re receiving from our leaders. This virus can’t spread if we socially distance ourselves. I know that’s difficult, as people, we’re social, but it’s better to be shelter in place and give people a chance to recover their health around the world.
For those of you who are living through this difficult experience alone, you are in my thoughts and prayers and heart. Things will soon be normal. This won’t last forever, and we’ll have the freedom to reunite with family and friends and those we love and cherish. For now we must deny the virus the environment it needs to contaminate others.
I wish you grace and peace wherever you are and pray God will give us the strength and wisdom we need to persevere.
