1/13/19, Summer Vacation

Hello, Everyone!

Now that we’re into the middle of January, I’m dreaming of summer vacations. Although our winter has been mild, we get occasional cold snaps that make me for long beaches and sun and relaxing, also known as summer vacation.

There are winter vacations, too. Our airport is crowded with travelers who have baggage filled with skis and snowboards. Workers schedule business travels according to mountain snowfall reports and hit the slopes after their meetings have ended.

Because I live in this cold part of the world, I’m anxious to escape to warmth and beaches and undulating waves. There’s nothing I want more than to throw my towel onto the sand, flop on top of it and fall asleep for the next week. By the end of the week, I should be caught up on my sleep and ready to return to work. That’s the plan anyway.

In my book A Ring Around Her Heart, Book 3 of the Crystal Creek Series, Giselle Whitloch is in desperate need of a vacation. She has her college degree in hand and is ready to hit the New York pavement to convince Wall Street she’s the one they’ve been waiting for. Her plans change when Niccolo drops into her life. The ring she inherited from her great grandmother was once his family’s treasured keepsake, a ring that disappeared during the Russian revolution. When the ring vanishes, their search takes them to the beaches of Mallorca to her family’s cliff house—a house where they discover the deadly secret behind the ring.

If you’re like me, it’s time to plan that summer vacation, whether it’s a quiet time to relax or an exotic trip that leads you to love and adventure. So get busy!

Have a fabulous and fun week ahead filled with peace, love, joy and God’s blessings!

Love,

Laura
